3 year old Jack Russell Terrier. (Neutered)

If Digby Menteith is the ultimate Cute Fluffy Dog of the school, then David is best described as a seriously close competitor without the fur!  David has already obtained his Bronze Clicker Award (15 behaviours) his Silver Clicker Award (25 behaviours) and his Gold Clicker Award (50 behaviours).

He skateboards, rings bells, closes doors, plays dead, rolls over, you name it, he does it. At 12" tall he is great for endorsing the smaller product.  David has been trained to do this with his nose and his chin or a combination of both on command.

He was short listed for a part in The Bartered Bride (Glynebourne) early in 1999 but at only just over a year of age it was felt that he was still a tad too young to cope with over 25 performances.

David made his debut as a canine model in Dogs Today Magazine in the September 1999 issue (pages 18 and 19) and has appeared in the October 99, November 99 and December/January 99/2000, February 00, March 00, April 00, May 00, and June 00 issues, July 00, August 00, September 00, October 00 and November 00 issues!

David appeared on the front cover of "Just the Job" (London Evening Standard) on June 19th 2000 and was featured doing his infamous "Stick 'em up!" and "Dead Dog" exercises in an article within the magazine.

His first UK commercial was shot in Battersea (London) in November 2000 for Unilever.  He was required to hold a lead, run up a small flight of stairs, across a bedroom, jump onto a bed, drop the lead and "snog" an actress.  As far as he was concerned, this was the best job EVER, and he repeated his performance perfectly over 15 times until they'd got the shot just right.

David has now attended 25+ professional photo shoots and thoroughly enjoys the whole experience!  He has also appeared on Newsroom Southeast, Channel 5 News and Meridian Television.

This is the epitome of a Martini Dog - he really does do it "Any Time, Any Place, Anywhere...."

A special thank you to Nina Bondarenko who sent me this lovely sketch of David demonstrating his clicker trained behaviours at the Gary Wilkes Seminar in Windsor, Summer 99.
